DocCare offers its services through various partner pharmacies. By selecting a pharmacy, you can either collect your treatments from a local pharmacy or have them delivered to your doorstep. Please note that delivery charges may apply.
Once your treatment is ready for collection, your nominated pharmacy will notify you via email and text message. If you have opted for delivery, you will receive an email confirmation that includes delivery information.
We accept online payments through credit and debit cards. Your card will be pre-authorized. In the event that a doctor determines you are not suitable for a particular treatment, no charges will be applied to your card, and you will be notified via email.
Our doctors aim to review all questionnaires within one working day. As our service evolves, the review time will decrease, with assessments being completed within an hour. Once approved, we will inform the nominated pharmacy and provide them with the authorized prescription.
All the pharmacies associated with DocCare are registered pharmacies in the UK and typically receive out-of-stock items within 24 hours, often within a few hours. Most general medications are stocked by the majority of pharmacies. If there are any issues with locating your prescription, our dedicated team maintains continuous contact with the pharmacies to ensure proper management. If you encounter any problems, please contact us immediately.
For form-based consultations, the processing begins immediately. Assessments are instantly delivered to a doctor who evaluates the suitability of the treatment. By agreeing to our services, you acknowledge that we initiate the service at your request. If you cancel an order for a form-based consultation, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee based on the reasonable costs already incurred. If the doctor has issued the prescription, the full charge applies. If the doctor has not yet reviewed it, an administrative charge of up to 50% of the original order may be applicable. Once the prescription is approved or issued by a doctor following a form-based consultation, the order cannot be canceled, and no refund will be provided.
Please note that DocCare is a private medical service and is not affiliated with the NHS. Payment is required if you wish to use our services.
Currently, DocCare does not accept orders from individuals under the age of 18, and our doctors are not authorized to prescribe on behalf of another person.
Unfortunately, we do not offer telephone orders. Our NHS-accredited doctors have designed a set of necessary questions that must be completed for each selected treatment. Without the completion of this form, we are unable to assist you. This ensures that our doctors have all the information required to provide informed medical advice to patients.
Presently, DocCare is a UK-based service and can only deliver treatments to confirmed UK addresses. All our pharmacy partners are registered in the UK.
At DocCare, all treatments require a prescription. Our doctors, who are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), review each patient to determine the suitability of the treatments before issuing a prescription. Once approved, prescriptions are sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy.
Please note that DocCare only offers the treatments listed on our website, and our services are for non-emergency conditions. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions. If you are unable to find the desired product, it is likely that our doctors do not prescribe it. In such cases, we recommend contacting your General Practitioner to explore alternative options.
Some treatments may be available with repeat prescriptions. However, these will be indicated in your patient record and need to be approved by the doctor through further consultations.
No, each account requires a unique email address, ensuring that only the registered person can be contacted. By using our services, you agree not to create more than one account and abide by our Terms and Conditions.
It’s important to note that all the pharmacy partners associated with DocCare are verified and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), each having their own pharmacy registration numbers. This means that you can be assured that all the products you receive from us originate from genuine registered pharmacies.
While we recommend sharing the details of your consultation with your General Practitioner, you have the option to opt out of this during the registration process.
We can deactivate your account upon request. However, please be aware that by law, the notes from your previous consultations must be stored by us. For more information or to request account closure, please email support@DocCare.co.uk.
Unless you specifically choose to opt out during registration, DocCare will share your information with your General Practitioner.
UK law prohibits the return of medications. However, if your order appears to have been tampered with or damaged upon arrival or collection, please contact your nominated pharmacy.
Unfortunately, our service is based on our doctors reviewing your condition before issuing a prescription to your nominated pharmacy. If you already have a private prescription, please contact your local pharmacy for further guidance.
